Hello

this is Spey Design

Jo
I spent 11 years working on some of the world's best loved food and drink brands at Mondelez in the UK, America and Switzerland.
In 2015, after the birth of my first daughter, I returned home to the Highlands.
Since then I have had the pleasure of using my experience to support a great variety of businesses.
Branding, I believe, is not a simply a logo. I enjoy projects that allow me to truly bring brands to life. This involves developing a visual language that can be used across all touch points of the consumer experience, from packaging to your email signature.
I get a kick out of tough challenges and developing branding and visual communication that my clients are proud to call their own.

Eden Court
"Under canvas was a completely new concept for us. Jo's skill was her ability to take ideas from lots of us on the team and create a look and feel that was just what we were looking for. She adapted without missing a step to changes in direction and was able to provide additional ideas on how to extend the feel of the event into the menus, the design of the space to even staff uniform."

Jo came onboard at the MC 5 years ago. Jo took my marketing & branding dreams, took them & created something unique, special & awesome. Jo has become a crucial part of our office team. She has designed our website, merchandise, staff training manuals & online shop. I love working with Jo she is creative, honest, reliable & just so much fun to work with.

"When we were building our gallery all we had was the name to put above the door. We were so lucky to get Jo-Ann on board with her creative ideas. She came up with a few variations on a very clever design. Now everything from our signage to our facebook page all has the same family feel. Creative and efficient."

Kilted Fudge
"Jo pushed us to smarten up our packaging and the results speak from themselves, our wholesale and online business has taken off since our redesign. In the last year we have also added many new lines to our core fudge range and Jo's smart thinking have allowed this to make sense on shelf, with the new lines developing their own look whist still looking like they belong to the Kilted Fudge family."

Kirsten Gilmour
Jo has been a massive support for me while have branched out working on my own personal branding. Jo has built my website, public speaking slide shows, recipe templates & has giving me honest to the point feedback when needed. She has a great eye for design & helps me stay on track. She has been so reliable, kind & flexible, even coming to my house with her kids, when I have had a technical problem. I love her!

Emily's Bees
"A big part of our brand is sustainability, Spey Design was able to come up with no fuss simple solutions that also looked pretty cool. Jo's packaging design has enabled us to place our products in some of the areas most exclusive gift shops that focus on local, high end sustainable brands. Without this we would still be struggling to sell our range at local markets."

"I has an idea in my head what I wanted in a logo, but getting it produced needed help. Jo-Ann took my idea and brought it to life whilst making the whole process really straightforward. She then adapted the logo for different needs. Great job."

Community Hall
Spey Design was great at seeing there are two sides to our branding - community and corporate. We love the understated glitz of the corporate navy and gold as well as the way Jo was able to update out purple and green Hall logo to be a more slick and modern.
